Where Are You From? Poem Template

“Where are you from?” can be a very complicated question, especially for kids who live in a country or region different than their parent’s country or region of origin, children of mixed or diverse ethnicities, immigrant children, or anyone who has had to move frequently.

Sometimes we lose sight of it the fact that we all come from somewhere. Individuals, families, communities, and nations are not formed in a vacuum. We all have very particular experiences unique only to us, but we also have very collective experiences within our families, communities, countries, ethnicities, etc. that have chiseled and molded who we are today.
