Do you own the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Panini Sticker Album to keep up with the teams, FIFA World Cup stats, and your favorite teams and players? The actual album is not super expensive. It’s collecting the individual sticker cards that becomes a little pricey.
If other families in your circle purchase the album and collect the cards, you could trade with each other, which makes the experience more enjoyable. Albums and sticker packets or boxes are sold online on Amazon and at Walmart in-store. One packet contains five cards.
Something I really enjoy about this sticker album is that it comes translated into nine different languages. Can you guess which ones they are?
I found these at the local library. Check them out and have them handy to learn more about this sport.

In the author’s note you will read the following: “They play to stay connected, they play to stay children. They play to stay human. Have you ever wondered why soccer is such a popular sport played all over the world? Why does it stir so much passion and loyalty?
In Honduras, almost every village or neighborhood has at least three things: a pulperpía (small convenience store), a church, and a soccer field. The soccer field is sometimes the only playground for children in developing nations. Sometimes it is the only healthy exercise or play they can experience in the midst of great difficulty and challenges. It's a space for friendship and community. And if for some reason, there isn’t a soccer field for kids to play in, the street will do. All you need is level ground, a ball, friends, and rocks to mark the goal.
This is Football is a documentary about soccer’s impact around the world. Travel to the streets of Delhi, the field of post-war Rwanda, all the way to Argentina. Learn how soccer has united people from around the world. It is a very interesting documentary!

I hope you enjoy this list of resources! But I want to end this post with a friendly and encouraging reminder: It is good and beautiful to learn about other cultures; but it is not the most important thing.
Knowing and following Jesus is the most important thing of all. When our children experience Jesus’ love at home and in our classrooms by being seen, heard, safe and secure, the rest will follow (little by little).
Love the children entrusted to your care well so that they can have the ability to share the love they have received to a world that desperately needs it whether it is in the soccer field, the playgrounds, or the classroom.
